Development of the Electricity Carbon Emission Factors
Development of the Electricity Carbon Emission Factors for Russia and Ukraine: Realisation of Public Consultation
posted 23 Jul 2010 by Lahmeyer International GmbH
EBRD assigned Lahmeyer International the task of preparing a Baseline Study with the overall objective to calculate reliable carbon emission factors for Russia and Ukraine for the period 2009 to 2020. These electricity carbon emission factors for each of the seven Russian electricity systems as well as the united Ukrainian electricity system shall facilitate to derive the baseline scenario of future Joint Implementation (JI) project activities under the Kyoto Protocol.

In order to allow for a broad acceptance of the derived Carbon Emission Factors for Russia and Ukraine we invite you to comment on the Draft Baseline Studies in the course of a Public Consultation. Your comments will be considered within further preparation of the Final Report.
