CESEL is a Peruvian private consulting company, serving the Peruvian and Latin American market. It specialises in studies, design, supervision and management of projects in almost all engineering disciplines. Founded in 1972, its headquarters is a modern seven-story building, equipped with all the facilities required for engineering development.

IRRIGATION AND DAMS - Chavimochic Irrigation Project, Package A. 18.4km tunnels and 10km channels, 82m³/s; 223m x 67m desander. $160 million investment. Design and works supervision.
- Palo Redondo Dam. 370m long and 106m high. Supervision of the feasibility study and final design.
ENERGY AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS - Macchupicchu Hydroelectric Power Station. Rehabilitation study and revamping up to 140MW, 50m³/s. Design of complementary civil and electromechanical works.
- Ventanilla Thermal Power Plant, 2 gas turbines, 100MW each. 4km pipeline for oil. Works supervision.
- Central America Electrical Interconnection (SIEPAC). Transmission line in El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama, 220kV, 735km. Route selection, surveying and right of way.
MINING AND HEAVY INDUSTRY - Copper mine and concentrator plant at Cobriza. Expansion of plant capacity (10,000 t/day). Design.
- Cerro Verde II, Comprehensive consulting service, project management for the copper concentrator plant (20,000 t/day).
HEALTH - Huancayo Regional Hospital. Project management and works supervision (500 bed capacity).
- Diagnostic of the maintenence systems of 9 hospitals and 36 health centres for the Health Ministry.
WATER AND SEWERAGE - Improvement of water and sewerage utilities in Lima suburbs, 354,000 inhabitants. Final study and works supervision.
- Expansion and upgrading of Villa El Salvador water system for 750,000 inhabitants. Feasibility study.
ENVIRONMENTAL - Seepage control of polluting liquids in Cerro Verde mine. Final design and construction supervision.
- Closure plans for tailings ponds and underground mines in Yauricocha and Andaychagua production units.
- Environmental impact study and mitigation ecological programme for hydropower stations San Gaban I and II (220MW) and Macusani dam.
HYDROCARBONS AND PETROCHEMICAL - La Pampilla oil refinery. Design of pumping system expansion and interconnection pipelines for residuals. Installation supervision of 2.8km oil pipeline.
- Installation for hydrocarbon products at the new liquid cargo dock, Talara Refinery. Design review and construction supervision. 28km of pipelines, pumping stations and 3 tanks.
