COMETE Engineering is a general, multidisciplinary consulting firm, established in Tunisia in 1987, in association with leading international engineering groups, Tractebel Engineering of Belgium and Coyne & Bellier of France, both related to the SUEZ Group.

Our expertise extends over a wide range of advisory and consulting services from identification to implementation of projects in engineering (civil, infrastructure, hydraulics), economic, financial, and industrial fields. We operate in the areas of agriculture, industry, energy, the environment, regional and urban planning, tourism, education, etc. We also operate increasingly in less traditional areas of the market: strategic positioning and restructuring of companies, investment fund management for international lenders, advice on privatisation of state companies, structural adjustment, sector adjustment, strategic studies, and support for the private sector, and carrying out field surveys in the economic market place.

COMETE Engineering is registered with the IBRD, AfDB, IsDB, BADEA, FADES and Kuwait Fund. Besides its activities in Tunisia and the rest of North Africa, COMETE operates in sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, and elsewhere.
