General descriptionThe activities of DDC svetovanje inženiring, doo (DDC Consulting & Engineering Ltd) are based on rich experience, proficiency, quality and many years of successful business performance. Following an interdisciplinary approach, DDC services typically encompass engineering, contractual, economical, financial and environmental aspects. Participation in varied consulting services funded by the World Bank, EIB, EBRD, EAR and the Slovenian and local governments have enabled DDC to gain considerable knowledge, experience and expertise.Under different names DDC has been active for almost 30 years. As DDC, the company was established in 1994 from the former social firm called Road Engineering into a limited liability company. The Republic of Slovenia is the founder, being also the current 100% owner. DDC Consulting & Engineering has developed while carrying out large projects related to the construction and maintenance of motorways and other national road networks - the focus of our activities in Slovenia over the past 10 years. During this time we have become the largest engineering and consulting company in the field of infrastructure construction in Slovenia. DDC’s technical qualifications and constant desire to acquire new knowledge ensure quality and timely performance of work. DDC’s clients are aware of this, and so are all those at home and abroad, who establish new business contacts with us. The high quality of the company’s business operations has been confirmed also by the quality system, which was established in 1999 and which meets the requirements of the ISO 9001 and is ISO 9001:2000 compliant. Its full-range renewal was arranged in spring 2004. Such a quality management system provides continuous improvement of services and processes. The main goal of the quality management policy is to provide all services at the level of quality expected and requested by our clients, as well as providing these within set deadlines in accordance with the top domestic and international standards.
