L&T has executed over 60 cement plant orders - a record in itself. To meet the growing demand of energy optimization in Cement industry, L&T also offers Waste Heat Recovery packages operating on exhaust gases from clinker cooler, preheater etc. On the mineral processing, we offer packages for Alumina refinery & smelter mentioned above on EPC basis based on customer requirements. POWER L&T sets up large utility power generation projects / independent power plants with full compliance to international standards. It also offers a comprehensive range of services to the nuclear power sector. This includes design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of various equipments and structures. NUCLEAR POWER L&T offers a comprehensive range of services to the nuclear power sector. This includes design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the following: -Primary Piping Systems--with associated equipment such as bleed coolers, moderators, reactor header systems, inertisation systems (argon, nitrogen etc.), tanks, vessels, pumps, valves, fittings, control & instrumentation and associated civil & structural work. -Turnkey Packages--for heavy water plants, waste management plants. -Secondary Systems--including de-aeration & feed water pumping station, high & low pressure feed water heaters, steam & water piping, control & instrumentation and associated civil & structural work. -Utility Packages--such as water systems (raw water, cooling water, DM / feed water, chilled water, fire water), compressed air systems, HVAC, associated equipment and related electrical, control & instrumentation and civil, structural & erection work. -Electrical & Instrumentation - electrical substation, power distribution projects, DCS / SCADA / PLC systems for plant control and field instrumentation packages. One of the projects under consideration is the S-200 motor Solid Propellant Plant proposed to be set up at ISRO's launching station located at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
