HYDRO CARBON
L&T offers design, engineering, project management, procurement, construction and commissioning services to the Hydro Carbon industry notably the Oil & Gas Upstream, Oil & Gas Mid and Downstream (Refinery, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer, Chemical projects and unit systems). L&T executes projects for the fertilizer industry (ammonia and urea complexes) including revamp, expansions and fully integrated grassroots plants, on turnkey basis with single-point responsibility. L&T plays a major role in the petrochemical sector as a 'Total Solutions Provider', offering comprehensive services. It undertakes projects on an LSTK/EPC basis with full compliance to international standards including technology from process licensors.
L&T offers the full range of facilities and equipment for unit systems & oil & gas production, processing and transportation. One of the largest of its kind in South Asia, its Modular Fabrication Yard (MFF) is capable of manufacturing several large modules simultaneously. Fabricated modules are tested and pre-commissioned onshore to ensure rapid and trouble-free hook-up at site.

MINERALS
&T offers design, engineering, project management, procurement, construction and commissioning services - with ISO 9001 accreditation - for cement plants, mineral, alumina and other allied machinery projects. L&T is having proven track record of turnkey project management from individual units to total plant and up gradation of existing cement plants. L&T has executed over 60 cement plant orders - a record in itself.
To meet the growing demand of energy optimization in Cement industry, L&T also offers Waste Heat Recovery packages operating on exhaust gases from clinker cooler, preheater etc.
On the mineral processing, we offer packages for Alumina refinery & smelter mentioned above on EPC basis based on customer requirements. We welcome technology suppliers for tie-ups on various packages for Alumina refinery and Smelter operations. We also welcome technology suppliers for tie-ups on other areas where in we can bring in our EPC capabilities.

POWER
L&T sets up large utility power generation projects / independent power plants with full compliance to international standards. It also offers a comprehensive range of services to the nuclear power sector. This includes design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of various equipments and structures.

NUCLEAR POWER
L&T offers a comprehensive range of services to the nuclear power sector. This includes design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the following:

-Primary Piping Systems--with associated equipment such as bleed coolers, moderators, reactor header systems, inertisation systems (argon, nitrogen etc.), tanks, vessels, pumps, valves, fittings, control & instrumentation and associated civil & structural work.
-Turnkey Packages--for heavy water plants, waste management plants.
-Secondary Systems--including de-aeration & feed water pumping station, high & low pressure feed water heaters, steam & water piping, control & instrumentation and associated civil & structural work.
-Utility Packages--such as water systems (raw water, cooling water, DM / feed water, chilled water, fire water), compressed air systems, HVAC, associated equipment and related electrical, control & instrumentation and civil, structural & erection work.
-Electrical & Instrumentation - electrical substation, power distribution projects, DCS / SCADA / PLC systems for plant control and field instrumentation packages.

SPACE TECHNOLOGY
&T has also made a significant contribution to the Indian space research program over the past two decades through supply of critical equipment.
To support ISRO's ambitious plans of commercialising its space program, L&T is fully geared to offer EPC projects on date-certain, fixed-cost basis.
One of the projects under consideration is the S-200 motor Solid Propellant Plant proposed to be set up at ISRO's launching station located at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. These S-200 motors will be used for the Geo-Stationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark-III Project, which has the capability of launching a satellite payload of approximately 4.0 tons into orbit.

DEFENCE
L&T has had a long association with the Indian Defence sector by way of indigenising design and manufacture of defence equipment.
L&T offers its services in setting up plants on a turnkey basis for organisations such as Ordnance Factory Board. L&T will collaborate with world-class technology providers, institutions and associates

L&T Engineering Services / Consulting group is staffed with a well-focused and vibrant work force of over 1200 professionals having cross-industry experience. Using cutting-edge technology, L&T provides end-to-end engineering solutions to various verticals including oil & gas, refinery, petrochemicals, fertilizers, chemicals, power etc
L&T Engineering is supported by specialized engineering groups namely FEED Group (Front End Engineering & Design), Technology & Innovation Center (TIC) and Research & Development Department (R&D).
