Vattenfall Europe PowerConsult (VPC) - formerly known as VEAG PowerConsult - is an internationally-renowned consultant working in the power sector since 1963. The company is a frontrunner in providing consulting, engineering and management services for thermal generation. VPC is the technical expertise arm of Vattenfall Europe, encorporating the latter’s engineering and operation management know-how. VPC's parent company Vattenfall Europe is a vertically-integrated utility whose assets include opencast mines, large state-of-the-art power stations and high voltage transmission grid. They also cover the energy utilities for the cities of Hamburg and Berlin, with their co-generation plants and distribution and district heating networks.

Vattenfall Europe's wealth of experience as a long-standing power station owner and operator with a generation fleet of about 17,000 MW gives VPC an unrivalled breadth and depth of expertise in power generation and related fields.
