Vattenfall Europe PowerConsult (VPC) - formerly known as VEAG PowerConsult - is an internationally-renowned consultant working in the power sector since 1963.

VPC is the German consulting and engineering branch of the Vattenfall Group. Together with its Swedish sister organisation Vattenfall Power Consultant AB (VPCAB) it is part of Vattenfall’s business unit ‘Engineering’. Both VPC and VPCAB have a combined work force of over 1200 employees, mostly engineers, and provide services for thermal, hydroelectric, nuclear, renewable energy power generation as well as for transmission and distribution networks.

The Vattenfall Group is the fifth largest generator of power and the largest producer of heat in Europe.
With about 38,000 employees, the group has a turnover of 22 billion EUR.

Vattenfall is a vertically integrated energy group which is organised in business groups / units along the value creation chain and bundles gas exploration and production, lignite mining, modern power stations, wind parks and other renewable energy facilities, transmission and distribution networks as well as energy-industry know-how under one roof.
