| We are seeking experienced personnel for a supervision of a large diameter transmission main for water supply between Taif and Baha in Saudi Arabia. The estimated duration of services will be 40 months. Estimated start date is September 2010. The positions will be based in Taif in Saudi Arabia, accommodation will be provided. Candidates should have experience in Saudi Arabia and/or the Middle East and have excellent knowledge of the English language (written and oral). Knowledge in Arabic will be a plus. Requirements: 12 yrs with BSc in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field. The Commissioning Engineer is fully responsible for commissioning, start-up and operations of the facilities and pipelines. - Monitors pre-commissioning work on systems to assure acceptance criteria have been met during implementation. - Monitors the safe conduct of the work and ensuring the work permit safety conditions are being met. - Applies commissioning risk assessments and safety measures. - Supervises all start-up and initial operation of equipment until systems/equipment are turned over from commissioning to operations care and custody. - Testing, inspection and hand-over of facilities. |
